Tony will be having work days for his Eagle project at Addison Elementary School on Ebenezer Rd off Sandy Plains on Feb 25 9-4 and Feb 26 12-5. He is staining benches and picnic tables, building an arbor, recovering some old benches and putting them in the outdoor classroom, and working in one of the many gardens. Lunch will be provided on Saturday and snacks on Sunday.

I have some very exciting news for the Foothills District!! California Pizza Kitchen has agreed to sponsor the Boy Scouts for a fundraiser! We have an excellent opportunity to raise much needed funds for our Scouts. From Thursday March 1st to Sunday March 4th, California Pizza Kitchen will donate 20% of your check back into Scouting! This includes dine-in, take-out, catering, and all drinks. Twenty percent is a substantial amount for a company to give back to the community. All you have to do is present the attached flier or mention Scouting to the server. I encourage everyone to plan an event with your Pack, Troop, Crew, or Team at California Pizza Kitchen during March 1st and March 4th. This is a great way to feed your hungry gang with great food and raise money for a great cause. And, California Pizza Kitchen is right in our back yard, at the intersection of Johnson Ferry Road and Roswell Road.

For those scouts working on the First Aid merit badge, we will meet on Sunday, 2/19 @ 2:30 until 4:30 at Chestnut Ridge Christian Church. The church is located at the corner of Post Oak Tritt and Johnson's Ferry.

Slover Morrison will be having Eagle Project work days this Saturday from 10-4 and Sunday 1-4. Lunch will be provided Sat. You will be installing 2 Structures for hanging Birdhouses and if time permits installing the birdhouses.
